Our Kindergartener

WOW!

That's all I know to say.

Amanda and I cannot get over how quickly

time has flown by!

It seems like just yesterday that

we came home from the hospital on a Friday afternoon

with little Zachary in tow!

Now look at him!

Our big kindergartener!!!

We are so proud of our little man!

Leaving the house for his first day of school

In case you're wondering,

he is a growling Claremont Bear!

I think this was after a third or fourth
makeup application!






The school bell rang, and he was off!
Amanda had to chase him down the
hall to get this picture!




Zachary's teacher, Mrs. Fulbright...

...and Assistant Teacher, Mrs. Sigmon

As part of an incentive program, Mrs. Fulbright

awards the children with a cookie at lunch

once they memorize their lunch number,

as well as an ABC Necklace

once they can recognize the entire alphabet

both in Upper and Lower Cases.

Zachary made us proud by earning both of those

the very first day!

(And his lunch number is an 8-digit number!!!)

Day 2 of Kindergarten,

and these kids have more computer

experience than we did by the time

Dad and Mom were in Middle School!
